26:15: Rashi quotes that the source of beams for the walls of the Mishkan Yaaakov planted in Egypt and gave instructions for them to be taken along when the departed. Besides the pratical aspect there was a very deep spiritual meaning to them; the walls designate the creation of the boundaries of the Schchinah. For this it was critical and crucial for Yaakov Avinu’s creating and involvement.
